As the department for Social Studies at Billinghurst, our collective goals for the following school year are as follows:
1. Attend regular meetings and share ideas, experiences, and future goals
2. Create department-wide assessments/rubrics
3. Create standards-based essential questions for units
4. Provide multiple opportunities for success and mastery to our students
5. Provide an engaging and safe classroom environment for students to grow and thrive
6. Instill a sense of community and citizenship in each of our students
